Enter the Fat Dragon follows the story of Fallon Zhu, a cop who has an uncanny knack of causing monumental collateral damage while working on the job. His actress girlfriend Chloe Song (Niki Chow) dumps him for failing to turn up for their wedding pre-shoot and to add insult to injury he gets demoted. But don't worry, it's all in the name of art as Yen proves he can move as good ever when while wearing a fat suit! Enter the Fat Dragon it is fun to watch, an inoffensive film with some flourishes of Donnie Yen's signature skills. Enter The Fat Dragon is an action comedy that feels good at the beginning but by the time getting less interesting. Donnie Yen arguably is one of the best action stars today.

Towards the end when the movie tries to get misty and heartfelt it's a complete joke. Basically a waste of time unfortunately. Yet Enter The Fat Dragon redeems itself by sensitively exploring Zhu's pain with heartening scenes between him and his former lover, where they try to reconcile their differences.
