The film adaptation of Ubisoft's game franchises takes a leap of faith that doesn't quite land. Confusing, boring, violent video game-based movie. Many have tried to make great movies out of video games, but few, if any, have thus far succeeded.
The film is directed by Justin Kurzel, written by Michael Lesslie, Adam Cooper and Bill Collage. The number of video game movie adaptations that have failed to meet expectations is astounding. A supernatural, martial arts series from Netflix.
Stars Iko Uwais, Byron Mann, JuJu Chan and Mark Dacascos. Apart from those moments, the film unfolds almost like a series of exquisite. But the show's acting is weaker than Into the Badlands, and its writing is even worse.
