Marco Bellocchio's "The Traitor" is a sturdy if somewhat uninspiring Mafia biopic. Once "The Traitor" earns its title, the movie is overwhelmed by legal intrigue and mafia infighting, and flattened into a repetitive and somewhat impenetrable courtroom drama. We see a young boy named Samir with his father who then is killed as a result of a terrorist act.
