Spies in Disguise Review: The Pigeon Spy Movie Is Actually Pretty Fun. Spies in Disguise makes good use of its oddball premise and two voice stars with a riff on spy thrillers that's fun for the whole family. Walter Beckett isn't your typical genius spy-guy scientist. In this case, the writers feathered their movie nest with a lot of potty humor. Nobody needs to stoop to showing animated bare backsides, crotch-thumps and other toilety giggles for a few extra, cheap laughs. Spies In Disguise is always enjoyable if rarely innovative.
